    Is there any voucher generation charge?

    Yes, there is a voucher generation charge of Rs. 99 per voucher, which will be debited from your card account.

    How do I redeem these Points?

    You can redeem your points to buy Diners Club International Vouchers by placing an online request via your HDFC Bank Internet Banking account,alternatively you can call HDFC Bank customer service center to request your Diners Club International Voucher. You will have a voucher code generated instantly and provided to you. You will also receive an SMS shortly confirming that you can make your instant booking at the HDFC Bank Diners Club International website www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in . On receiving the SMS, you will need to visit www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in and complete your booking using the voucher.

    Is there a lag between getting my voucher code and the confirmation SMS?

    There could be a lag of a maximum of 2 hours between the generation of the voucher code and receiving the confirmation SMS.

    I redeemed my points to get a voucher code, but I forgot to use that code for bookings at www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in . Can I get back my points?

    Once you have generated your voucher code, you can use the code on the HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in within the next 30 days. Post 30 days, the voucher code will become invalid and you will receive the corresponding number of points in your Diners Club International Card account. It might take upto 30 days for the points to reflect in your account.

    I have redeemed my points to generate a voucher worth Rs.5000. I booked a Flight ticket worth Rs.4000. Where is the rest of the amount?

    After you have successfully redeeemed points worth Rs. 4000, your voucher will now be worth Rs. 1000 and can be used towards other flight, hotel bookings. If you do not use the remaining amount on your voucher, this amount will be refunded to your account after the expiration of the voucher which is 30 days from the creation date of the voucher.

    I have redeemed my points to generate a voucher worth Rs.5000. The flight ticket I want to book is worth Rs.6000. Can I still redeem?

    Yes you can. You will need to use your voucher for the booking and pay the remaining amount of Rs. 1000 using your Diners Club International Credit Card, all in a single transaction.

    When can I start redeeming points on my HDFC Bank Diners Club International Credit Card?

    You can start redeeming your points as soon as you have transacted on the card and have accumulated sufficient points for redemption.

    Can I modify the itinerary on my reward ticket if it has already been issued? Can I also make amendments if I have flown one way already in case of flight redemption?

    Yes, you can modify or cancel your reward tickets by calling the travel concierge on 1800 11 8887(BLACK) or 1800 209 4006(Rewardz & Premium). You will have to pay the difference in fare, if any. Also, there will be a modification/cancellation charge of Rs. 300 per person per sector for domestic bookings and international bookings.

    Can I cancel my Reward ticket?

    In case of Hotel reward booking you will have to cancel the entire booking. The amount you have paid for your reward ticket using voucher is non-refundable. The amount paid by cash (if any) will be refunded after the applicable cancellation charges. For details on applicable cancellation charges please refer to the cancellation policy and FAQ on cancellation charges under Flight/Hotel section.

    If I do not have sufficient points for redemption, can I pay the remaining amount using my HDFC Bank Diners Club International credit card?

    Yes, you can top up your Diners Club International Voucher and pay the balance using your HDFC Bank Diners Club International Credit card to complete the booking.

    What is the minimum period within which I can come back on complaints/queries about my voucher?

    For any queries or complaints on the voucher generated, the customer should contact within 6 Months to have a resolution. Cases coming after 6 Months will not be considered.

    On which airlines can I earn and redeem?

    You can earn and redeem your points on any airline, not just in India but across the globe.

    Are there blackout dates for redemptions for travel bookings?

    No, there are no blackout dates. This means you have the freedom to travel anytime of the year - even during the holidays, as long as a seat is available for booking through the HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in

    For bookings done through HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in is it necessary that the credit card holder should be a part of traveling group?

    No, the credit card holder need not be part of the traveling group. However, in such cases, we may call you to ensure that your credit card has not been used fraudulently. Also based on the airline's regulations the passenger may be asked to carry a photocopy of the credit card signed by the cardholder. Please check with your airline.

    Can I make an online booking for a child below 12 years of age traveling alone?

    You cannot book for a child below 12 years of age, if he/she is traveling alone. You will have to contact the airline for such bookings.

    Can I book tickets for infants on HDFC Bank Diners Club International. ( www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in )?

    Yes, you can book up to one infant per adult on HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in . The age of infant must be below 24 months on the date of travel. Make sure you carry valid proof-of-age documents at the time of check-in. The infant is not awarded a seat on the flight and has to travel with the accompanying adult.

    What is the maximum number of seats I can book?

    A maximum of 9 seats can be booked at one time. If you need to book for more than 9 travelers you will have to re-complete the booking process for the additional travelers.

    I've selected 5 passengers (adult + children). Why are some airlines missing from the search results?

    Some airlines don't allow us to book more than 4 passengers (adult + children) in one go, so try to search for fewer passengers.

    I entered my payment details and hit submit – and all I got was a blank screen! I got charged but don't have an e–ticket. What now?

    We're really sorry for the inconvenience. In some rare cases, we do not receive the response from the payment gateway on confirmation of payment. In such cases, we would automatically refund the amount charged to your credit card within 15 days. We suggest that in such cases, you search and book your trip again.

    I did a search for flight tickets and selected my flight. However, after providing the passenger details, I see that the fares have increased. Why?

    The airline fares are dynamic in nature and are based on availability of the seats on the particular flight. There are always chances that the seats selected by you may get sold till the time you complete your booking. Therefore, to minimize the chances of booking failures, we check the availability of the seats before you proceed with the payment. If you find that the fare has increased at this step, you have the option of going ahead with the booking or refresh the search.

    How do I know my reservation was confirmed?

    We'll send you an SMS (to India numbers only) and an email to confirm your flight booking.

    Do I need to confirm my flight reservation before I fly?

    No, you don't. If you really want to, you can contact the airline directly.

    How do I confirm my seat assignments?

    HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in does not do pre–seating. Some airlines will confirm your seat assignments – their rules for doing so vary – so you can call your airline directly to check whether you get to choose your seat.

    How do I get my e–ticket details?

    We'll send your e–ticket details to the email address you gave us when you made your reservation.

    How do I get a boarding pass for an e–ticket?

    You can check-in in three ways. Some of the airlines provide a web check-in facility, where you can select your seat and print your boarding pass online. If you use this facility, you will have to approach the check-in counter to drop your baggage.
    You can also check-in using Tele check-in service provided by some of the airlines. In such cases, you will have to present your ticket and ID proof at Airline check-in counter for issuance of boarding card and for baggage drop.
    Alternatively, you can check-in physically at the airport counters of the airline by presenting your ticket and ID proof.

    Do I have to show my e–ticket confirmation email at the airline check–in counter?

    Yes, you do. Some airports don't allow you to enter without a printout of your e–ticket, so be sure to carry one with you. If you've forgotten to carry your e–ticket printout, you can contact the airline ticketing counters at the airport to issue a duplicate itinerary receipt.

    Do you issue paper tickets?

    No, we do not issue paper ticket.

    How do I generate an invoice for my booking?

    Your itinerary receipt itself can be used as invoice of booking. Log in to your account on the HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in with your registered email address and password. Once you successfully login, go to "Manage Bookings" to view all your upcoming and completed trips. You can view/print your receipt by clicking on Booking Ref No. In case you have not registered, you can still view your receipt by providing the booking reference number, email ID specified during the booking and your complete name to retrieve the booking. You can then print the itinerary receipt or email it to your account.

    Do I have to show ID proof at the time of check–in?

    Yes. The airline and airport authorities may or may not check your ID proof but we strongly recommend that you carry a government–issued photo–id proof with you whenever you fly.

    How do I find out my baggage limit?

    Please contact the airline directly or visit their website for accurate details regarding baggage limit.

    How do I print my ticket?

Once you successfully login, go to "Manage Bookings" to view all your upcoming and completed trips.     Is it possible to book tickets for another person through my account?

    Yes, just enter the details of the passengers you want to book for when you're asked to enter traveler details at the time of booking.

    I'm taking a connecting flight. Will I need to change terminals?

    In most cases, you will need to change terminals in order to board your connecting flight. Often the terminals are at quite distant from each other and you'll need to set aside some extra time to walk from one terminal to another. Please make it a point to enquire about your terminal as soon as you arrive at the airport, since gate numbers and terminals can change at the last moment.

    Can I book international tickets for infants on HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in ?

    Yes, you can book tickets for infants and Children on HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in . However, we do not yet book tickets for unaccompanied minors. When booking international flights for infants, please keep these points in mind:
    • Every passenger (including infants and minors) requires a valid passport.
    • Infants and children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years old.
    • You can book no more than one infant (under 2 years) per adult. But one adult can fly with a child and an infant.
    • The infant must be under 24 months of age while travelling the outbound sector to qualify for an infant fare.

    How much baggage can I carry?

    Cabin and checked-in baggage limit varies from airline to airline. Some airlines have baggage weight restrictions and others have a specific number of pieces permitted. Please note that restrictions on baggage apply to both checked–in bags as well as cabin baggage. Often, you'll be asked to pay for any checked–in luggage that exceeds the weight permitted. Cabin luggage that exceeds the weight limit is not permitted and will have to be checked in. Please check with your airline.

    Can I enter my frequent flyer number at the time of booking?

    Yes you can enter your frequent flyer number at the time of your booking for airline which support this feature.

    Do I get points on my FFP as well if I book a ticket on HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in ?

    Yes. You get points on your FFP in addition to the points that you earn on booking through your Infinia card. Please contact your airline with your frequent flier number and flight details to ensure you get your airline FFP points.

    How do I cancel a flight reservation?

    What are the cancellation charges?

    For revenue bookings, the cancellation charges depend on the airline, sector, class of booking, and time of cancellation. To know what's applicable in your case, check the fare rules mentioned on the booking page when you're making your reservation (in case you missed it then, you can always go back to your account and check out your trips pages). Apart from the cancellation charges levied by the airline, HDFC Bank Diners Club International ( www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in ) charges a cancellation fee of Rs 300 per passenger per sector.

    If I need to cancel my flight, what's the latest I can do this by?

    From the HDFC Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in , you can cancel your flight no later than 6 hours before the time of departure. If it's later than 6 hours, you need to contact the airline directly for cancellation.

    How will I get my money back after a cancellation?

    For Revenue bookings, we will credit the money after adjusting for cancellation charges, back to your Diners Club International Credit Card account in 15 days time.

    How long does it take to process a refund?

    We usually process the refund within 4 working days of cancellation. However, it may take slightly longer to reflect in your account statement depending upon your bank. We've noticed that it takes about 14 working days for most refunds to hit their respective accounts.

    I booked my flights on HDFC Bank Diners Club International ( www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in ) but then cancelled them by directly contacting the airline. How do I claim my refund?

    We strongly recommend that you let us know immediately after cancelling your revenue booking directly with the airline. The refund generally takes 4 to 15 days for revenue bookings. In cases such as no–show or flight cancellation, the refund process can take about two extra weeks as well.

    How do I make changes to a flight reservation?

    For Revenue bookings, we treat modifications as cancellations and new bookings. So, you'll have to cancel your existing booking and make a new one.
    You cannot modify/cancel a redemption booking.

    Do I have to pay anything for the redemption tickets?

    The flight redemption tickets are absolutely free of cost except for government or airport taxes and surcharges. You will have to pay these through your HDFC Bank Diners Club International Credit Card.

    Can more than two adults stay in one room?

    Most hotels allow additional guests to stay in a room for an extra charge as long as the room doesn't exceed the maximum number of guests allowed per room. If you book a room that cannot accommodate your group, the hotel may cancel your reservation or require that you book additional rooms. If you have doubts, check directly with your hotel for their extra guest charges and the maximum number of people allowed in the room you've booked.

    Our children will be traveling with us – do they stay for free?

    When making your booking, select the number of children traveling with you from the 'Children' drop–down box. If you select just 1 child, our search will give you the price of a double room with child, not including an extra bed. If you want an extra bed in the room, you need to increase the number of passengers in your search.

    How do I know if my booking was successful?

    We'll send you an email and SMS confirmation for your hotel booking.

    Do I need to confirm my booking with the hotel?

    No, you don't. You can also contact the hotel directly if you prefer. However, it may take upto 12 hours for the booking to reflect at the hotel.

    What if I don't get a confirmation at the time of booking?

    If a confirmation page doesn't display once you complete your booking, check your email for a confirmation.

    How long will it take for the hotel to get my booking information?

    The time it takes for a hotel to get your booking information varies by specific hotel and arrival date. In most cases the hotel should receive the reservation information within 12 hours of the time you made your booking (except for nights and weekends when the hotel's reservation department is closed). Please note that this doesn't apply to bookings made for the same day.

    There are certain reservations that are booked out of an allotment. These rooms are guaranteed and must be paid for when you check out of the hotel. In some cases the hotel won't have your name on the reservation until approximately 24 hours before you arrive.

    What is my hotel's check–in time?

    Typically, the hotel check–in time is after 2:00 pm (local hotel time). Check with your specific hotel for its exact check–in time.

    Will the hotel hold my room if I'm arriving late?

    Since your reservation is guaranteed with a credit card, the hotel is obliged to hold your room until 7 am, the day after your planned arrival date.

    What if I'm going to arrive early?

    If you know you're going to arrive early at your hotel, contact the Hotel directly. But it's ultimately subject to the terms and conditions of the hotel.

    How do I get a receipt or invoice for my hotel booking?

Apart from the cancellation charges levied by the hotel, HDFC Bank Diners Club International www.HDFCBankdinersclub.in charges a fee of Rs. 300 for every hotel cancellation.

    By when do I need to cancel my hotel booking?

    It depends on your hotel. Please go through the hotel's booking policy mentioned on the booking page while making the reservation (in case you missed it, you can always sign in to your account and check it out on your Trips pages). Please keep in mind that irrespective of what the hotel's booking policy says, you cannot cancel your booking on the day that you're supposed to check–in.

    How will I get my money back after cancelling a hotel booking?

    We will credit the money, after adjusting for cancellation charges, back to your Diners Club International Credit Card used for making the booking. The refund amount will reflect in your account in about 15 days time from date of cancellation of booking.

    HDFC treats modification of Revenue bookings as cancellation and new booking. You'll have to cancel your existing booking and make a new one.

    You cannot modify/cancel a Redemption booking.

    Can I choose my seat at the cinema?

    Yes, this is one of the most important features that we offer. You have the choice of re-selecting / changing your seats at every step of the transaction.

    How many tickets can I book in one transaction?

    You are permitted to book a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction in each seating category of the cinema screen.

    How can I confirm whether my tickets have been booked?

    Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive an email stating the same.

    I accidentally booked my tickets for today instead of tomorrow, can you change the tickets?

    No, it is not possible to replace or refund tickets once they have been confirmed.

    Can I change my seats?

    No. It is not possible to change your seats to another row or another number once they have been booked and confirmed.

    Can I change the show time that I have booked for?

    Unfortunately it is not possible to change your tickets for different show timing once they have been booked and confirmed.

    Can we cancel or replace our tickets?

    No, as per government regulations, once a ticket has been paid for, it is deemed as sold, and therefore cannot now be replaced or cancelled.

    What is the minimum time frame within which I need to redeem before the show?

    You must redeem using your voucher at least 4 hours before the show timing. For example, should you wish to go for a show at 11pm on the 15th of April, you must book using your voucher and make your booking request by the 7 pm on the 15th of April at the latest.

    How will I get my tickets?

    Once your booking is confirmed, you will be required to print out your confirmation, and carry it with you to the box office at the cinema. Your tickets will be awaiting collection at the box office, and upon presentation of the confirmation, they will be handed over to you.

    Is Mobile/DTH Recharge offered on HDFC Diners Club International Online Portal?

    Yes, HDFC Diners Club International allows its customers to redeem their points or use their HDFC Diners Club International Credit Card to recharge their Pre-paid Mobile phone or their DTH account

    Why is my recharge request not going through?

    A request will be invalid on account of following reasons:
    • Non subscriber ID/mobile number
    • Post paid mobile number where pre-paid is required
    • Subscriber ID/mobile number which does not pertain to the list of mentioned operators.
    • Incorrect/unacceptable recharge value

    I did not get any confirmation message from the operator informing me the status of my recharge. What should I do?

    Once the recharge is completed, you will receive a confirmation message from the operator as well as an e-mail from HDFC Diners Club International. In case on non-receipt of confirmation message, please check the talk-time/viewing limit of your mobile phone Service/ DTH account. If the account balance does not increase, please contact our 24x7 concierge on 1800 11 8887(BLACK) or 1800 209 4006(Rewardz & Premium) with the details of mobile number, time & date of recharge, recharge amount & the Order ID mentioned on your receipt and we will get back to you.
